New Stuff and an Allowance!!

I learned something new this weekend!!

See, I've been really afraid of the vacuum since I was "little".  Well, not anymore!  :)  Here's the story...

Momma and Daddy talked to us about getting allowances now.  I get to save some, tithe some and then the rest is mine to do what I want with.  But here's the catch... I have to do chores.  If I don't do the chores I'm assigned and Momma, Daddy, or M do them, then I have to pay the person who did my chore out of my allowance.

So, one of my chores is vacuuming M's and my bedroom and sometimes the living room area.  I had to get over my fear of the loud noise, but getting to be the one in control of the vacuum seems to help.  I did our bedroom by myself (well, Momma was supervising and guiding) and Momma took pictures.  You can check them out below!

I'm getting excited for Spring Break!  I have one more week of school and then a whole week off and guess what, Momma doesn't have to work at all that week!  Momma and Daddy said they have a really big surprise for us, but we have to wait to find out what it is!  I'm really curious, but I can wait, I guess.  I'll post about the surprise after Spring Break is over.  Hopefully it's something fun!

Snow Day!

I didn't think I'd get to have snow days in Texas like we had in Michigan!  But I was wrong.  Today we didn't have school because of the ice and we have tomorrow off too.  Momma and Daddy say that Texas drivers are crazy in this kind of weather... I think they're crazy drivers any time.  Momma and Daddy both worked from home today and Momma gets to work from home again tomorrow.  Today, she helped us clean our room and set up our new "beds" with our new sheets and comforters.  It finally feels like a "real" bedroom.  Momma and Daddy are getting a new bed on Wednesday and we're getting a new washer and dryer for the family tomorrow...  I think it's gonna be a great week!

This week in My Life

Hey there!!!

It's A again.  This week was pretty normal except for three things.  I went to school everyday, but this week, Grandma Sue and Papa Dale took me to school because Daddy was in Austin for work.  The other thing that was different this week is that Uncle Jonathan has been at our apartment because he moved to Texas last Saturday.

This morning I got a new outfit because I put on a pair of sweatpants this morning that had a hole in the knee and Grandma didn't want me to wear them to school.  I got black leggings and a Frozen t-shirt.  Here's a picture of me in my new outfit.

I'm pretty excited about tonight... because Daddy's gonna be home in time for dinner!

I've changed!!!

I'm 5 1/2 years old now.  I'm back!!  I love to read!  My Mommy will still help me write posts, but they will be about my new life in Texas and also about the books I'm reading.  Hope you enjoy!
